In this work, the word “عشق” is densely repeated in small script across the background, forming a structure reminiscent of the moon on the page. Within this concentrated field, the broad red calligraphic verse moves across the surface as a distinct visual element.
The red colour of the phrase “عشق,” alongside the countless repetitions of the same word, creates a relationship between meaning and form, where a single word is both read and transformed into part of the visual structure of the work.
Text / Poem in the Artwork:
“My heart has bled from my love for you; O my moon, look upon me.”
